With the arrival of Easter, we perhaps have a few more days available to dedicate ourselves to video games: so, what will you be playing this weekend?
We have arrived at the Easter weekend 2024, therefore a small fragment of holiday just when it was needed most, in this early spring after a period that was probably quite busy for everyone, so the moment is propitious and the classic question even more valid : what will you play this weekend?
The possibilities are many, especially thanks to the releases of the previous week, which are still very valid. There has been no shortage of news in recent days either, but the biggest ones are still concentrated in the past few days, so it is likely that this weekend will be dedicated to those.
This week between Ender Magnolia and Diablo 4
Looking at this week's games it especially stands out Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mistthe sequel to the excellent Ender Lilies, a metroidvania with an almost fairy-tale appearance but characterized by rather dark horror atmospheres and tones, with a combat system that immediately becomes the protagonist of the gameplay.
Still remaining with this week's news, even if it's not really a new launch, the arrival of Diablo 4 on Game Pass may represent another element of great importance this weekend, because many may find themselves in contact with Blizzard's famous action RPG for the first time with this relaunch, and these are probably destined to be absorbed by the gaming world in the coming days.
Immediate backlog: Dragon's Dogma 2, Rise of the Ronin, and Peach
The most notable releases from last week, as we said, are still very fresh. Among these it stands out above all Dragon's Dogma 2which also received an important update yesterday and which could provide further impetus to get back to work immediately in Capcom's open world in these Easter days.
On the other hand, Rise of the Ronin is also probably still among the works in progress of many PlayStation users, so it is possible that Team Ninja's action RPG with a Japanese setting may have remained the main element of attention for these players.
Finally, we can't forget Princess Peach: Showtime too! Considering that multiple Nintendo Switch owners may have recently launched into this new Nintendo adventure entirely based on the main female character of the Mariesca series, therefore on this front too there is probably still some work to be done this weekend.
