Born in Seville in 1846, Saint Angela of the Cross was a Spanish nun who founded the congregation of the Company of the Sisters of the Cross. His work focused on helping the poor and sick. After suffering a stroke, she died in 1932. John Paul II canonized her in 2003, and her tomb is in the chapel of the Mother House in Seville, her hometown.
