The weekend of the 6h of Imola is ready to begin, but in the world of the FIA World Endurance Championship we always look ahead already thinking about the 6h of Spa-Francorchamps, so in the Santerno paddock we also talk about future commitments, on a Thursday that started with sunny and closed with intermittent rain to cool the air a lot.
Starting from the Belgian race which will be held on May 11th, Rahel Frey will return to the Iron Dames to share the wheel of the Lamborghini Huracan #63 of the Iron Dames with Sarah Bovy and Michelle Gatting.
The Swiss, who has returned to having a Silver license since the beginning of 2024, will take the place of Doriane Pin, after the team founded by Deborah Mayer announced its commitment to the Formula Regional European Championship, focusing on the Frenchwoman, who will however remain in the lineup for the 24h of Le Mans.

Another almost announced change concerns the Akkodis-ASP Team: Ritomo Miyata, Toyota's official reserve (present in Imola, among other things) will be on board the LMGT3 Class Lexus #78 with Arnold Robin and Timur Boguslavskiy in replacing Kelvin Van Der Linde.
The South African, in turn, will fill the role of replacement for Nico Muller in Berlin, where the double Formula E race takes place. The Swiss confirmed to Motorsport.com that the priority is to drive the Peugeot 9X8 in Belgium , so ABT Cupra took the necessary countermeasures by calling up Van Der Linde.
And finally, Peugeot itself seems to be of the idea of fielding a double pair, that is Muller and Mikkel Jensen in the #93, and Paul Di Resta with Loic Duval on board the #94, with Jean-Eric Vergne and Stoffel Vandoorne who will go to race in Germany in the electric series, while Malthe Jakobsen will be ready as a reserve in case of need.
