The important certification was awarded by the FIA Environmental Committee to Ferrari – Ente Endurance e Corse Clienti for the commitment of the Ferrari – AF Corse team in the top class of the World Endurance Championship.
The basis of the certification is the adoption of a management system aimed at stimulating every possible action in the short, medium and long term, with the aim of reducing environmental impacts and, at the same time, measuring the social and economic impacts produced by the team.
These actions take place in various areas: from the internal separate waste collection system to Team Hospitality to the creation of spaces for guests participating in events on the track that facilitate travel on foot; from the use of digital tools such as the “MyFerrari App” for communications at FIA WEC events, to eliminate the use of paper, to the optimization of transport and logistics and the reuse of materials for track setups.
Also of particular importance is the fact of being able to count on buildings and structures, such as the Endurance and Corse Clienti headquarters, at the forefront in terms of environmental impact, where the concept of sustainability is expressed in the optimization of the resources used in every area including air conditioning and lighting systems.

In the context of endurance competitions, the Ferrari Group has defined the team’s sustainable development policy, integrating it with the five pillars of the Maranello company’s sustainability strategy, as well as product and process interventions and innovations.
The Three-Star level certification follows the renewal of the ISO 20121 certification, which took place in April 2024, relating to the international standard for the sustainable design and management of events, for participation in the World Endurance Championship in the Hypercar class. The certification is issued by TÜV NORD Italia. For the first time the Ferrari LMH Team obtained this certification in April 2023.
Alessandra Todeschini, Head of Ferrari Endurance and Pista di Fiorano: “We are proud to have received the Three-Star level certification of the FIA Environmental Accreditation Framework program, a result that certifies our constant commitment to minimizing the environmental impact of our actions”.
“This is a very important certification that adds to those received in recent months, including the ISO 20121 certification for the sustainable planning and management of events for the Ferrari team participating in the FIA WEC in the Hypercar class.”
“These results reinforce the belief in the goodness of the existing projects, and of those we are working on with the future in mind, goals that can only be achieved thanks to the collaboration of our entire working group”.
