Confirmation across the board
If the team that wins does not change, the same maxim can also apply to the calendar of a championship. Today, just over 24 hours from the start of one of the most anticipated editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans ever, the WEC has announced the official calendar for the 2025 season.
The winner across the board is the continuity: The in fact, the eight scheduled rounds are exactly the same as this season, also ‘arranged’ in the same order: opening in Qatar at the end of February and closing in Bahrain in November. In between the stages of Imola, Spa, Le Mans, San Paolo, Austin and Fuji.
The dates have also been confirmed almost entirely, with the Italian appointment which will be on April 20th 2025, on the same weekend this season. The only minimal changes concern the last three rounds, with the Lone Star of Austin brought forward by a week and the 6 hours of Fuji postponed instead of two weekends. Finally, the Bahrain 8 Hours will take place a week later than this year’s.
