Weather|The warm weather continues, you should be prepared for heavy rain during the end-of-school weekend.
On Saturday you should be prepared for thunderstorms in the capital region, says Foreca’s meteorologist on duty Ilkka Alanko.
“The morning will still be sunny on Saturday, but it might rain in the afternoon,” he says.
Thunderstorms will become more common on Saturday afternoon throughout southern Finland.
“They are most common in the interior. It might be more muddy on the coast,” says Alanko.
In Ostrobothnia and the central parts of the country there may be thunderstorms already today, Friday, but they will be even more common tomorrow, Saturday.
“On Saturday night, however, the deaf already disappear,” says Alanko.
In many the family is tense about what the weather will be like on the last day of school, i.e. Saturday, June 1.
Alanko warns that the weather is changing next week in a more unstable direction.
Rain showers are expected throughout Finland.
The weather is still unstable even during the end-of-school weekend.
Good however, the news is that the heat will remain in Finland until the beginning of June.
“Even though the weather in Northern Finland will cool down temporarily today and tomorrow, it will warm up again on Sunday,” says Alanko.
Hellelukemi is accessible all over the country, which means, according to Alango, that the 25-degree limit is broken in many places.
