Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus 2 was announced with a trailer from Bulwark Studios and Kasedo Games: the new episode of the strategic series based on the Games Workshop franchise will arrive on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
Although at the moment there isn’t one yet exit date official, the choice to focus exclusively on current generation platforms probably implies substantial steps forward on a technological level compared to the launch of Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus on PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
Mechanicus 2 will include two playable factions, Mechanicus and Necroneach with its own campaign and its own peculiar approach to gameplay, which will also be managed based on the new environmental mechanics that allow you to exploit the scenario during battles.
The details so far
In Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus 2 we will have to fight for control of an entire worldcapturing new territories and defending them from enemy assaults in order to produce resources useful for strengthening our units.
We will be able to deploy a group of Tech Priests under the command of the Magos Dominus Faustinius or customize a court of Necron nobles as Vargard Nefershah, assemble forces wisely for each individual mission and carefully choose our fighters.
Accompanied by the engaging soundtrack by Guillame Davidwe will be able to immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of Warhammer 40,000 and admire the splendid illustrations that will enrich the experience, following the events narrated by the well-known author Ben Counter.
