(Reuters) – Wall Street’s major indexes opened higher on Tuesday after five sessions of sharp declines on concerns about an economic slowdown induced by rising interest rates.
The Dow was up 0.54% at the open to 29,419.88 points.
The S&P 500 opened up 0.86% to 3,686.44 points, while the Nasdaq Composite edged up 1.41% to 10,955.288 at the open.
