The VisionLab company has launched in Spain a new range of lenses created with Artificial Intelligence (AI) in collaboration with the technology company Kümer IA, a firm specialized in IoT (Internet of Things) products. As explained by the optical chain, the initiative is based on algorithms capable of creating unique visual profiles of users, based on real data from more than 70,000 people. Among the variables that are taken into account, the following stand out: age, type of use, profession, lifestyle, behavior at work, domestic use, time outdoors or spaces where the glasses will be used, among other elements. With all of the above, AI “guarantees complete personalization, with optimal vision, wider fields of vision and stability in any direction of gaze.”
Anne Delmas, general director of VisionLab, estimates that her company expects to grow sales at a double-digit rate in Spain, an objective to which the modernization of the current 108 stores and the requirement to improve the customer experience in the act of purchasing will contribute. glasses.
