The last day of the trial for the kiss that Luis Rubiales imposed on Jenni Hermoso and the alleged plot that later urged to try to make the player publicly to subtract importance this Friday with the exhibition of conclusions of Jorge Vilda’s lawyer, Luis Luis Jordana de Pozas.
For about an hour, the lawyer has tried to question the credibility of the brother and a friend of the player, the only witnesses of the conversation for which the accusations attribute to the former select a crime of coercion. “I don’t think he lies, but he is an exaggerated,” said the lawyer, who has denied the coercion, as well as the defenses of the other two defendants. “It is a daring to think that there were pressures from my client (…). Begging is not intimidating, ”added Jordana de Pozas.
After nine sessions, the trial in which the former president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) faces a sentence of up to two and a half years in jail for that kiss and for the alleged coercion has remained this Friday seen for sentence. Vilda, the former sports director of the male team Albert Luque and the former marketing marketing of the Rubén Rivera Federation have also been judged. None of the defendants have made use of their right to the last word.
