A new video has come to light showing the moments before the tragedy occurred during a political party event Citizen Movement (MC) in San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León (Mexico), in which the presidential candidate, Jorge Álvarez Máynez, participated.

However, a new clip has revealed what the moments before the tragedy were like.
The 25-second video was recorded by a person who was on stage with Álvarez Máynez, Lorenia Canavati, Laura Ballesteros, Emecista’s campaign coordinator, and other related people from the party. The recording shows a festive atmosphere, with candidate Canavati addressing the audience enthusiastically.
The enthusiasm on stage was palpable. “Welcome to our next President of the Mexican Republic,” Canavati proclaimed before starting a cheer of “Máynez, Máynez, Máynez!” In the images you begin to see how suddenly a gale breaks loose and some raindrops begin to fall.
After the stage collapsed, the scene was plunged into chaos and despair. The attendees, between screams and runs, tried to get to safety while the structures Falls caused multiple injuries. José Juan, one of those present, narrated how he pulled his wife, Dominga, who let go of his hand and was trapped under one of the tarps. Later images of the scene showed a desolate scene, with personal belongings scattered on the ground and abandoned campaign signs. Various witnesses, injured and not injured, were trying to process what happened. The devastation was evident, and uncertainty reigned in the air.
Presidential candidate Jorge Álvarez Máynez also shared his experience, detailing the intensity and speed of the climate phenomenon that did not allow time to act. He stressed the need to investigate the security conditions of the event and expressed his solidarity with the victims and their families.
