Mexico City.– Belinda made her debut this weekend on the catwalks of Paris Fashion Week with a performance that was marred by a fall that quickly went viral on social media.
The actress was also invited to take part in the fashion event of the cosmetics firm L’Oréal, where she represented Mexico, to pose alongside other international stars, such as Anitta.
Unfortunately, the “Amor a Primera Vista” singer had an incident during her walk on the catwalk, as she tripped and fell halfway down. Immediately, Belinda got up and continued with her performance, smiling at the cameras as she reached the center of the stage. In the video of the moment, taken from the live broadcast of the fashion event, the famous woman can be seen entering the catwalk with all the attitude right after Anitta.
For the event, Belinda wore a short mini dress, a gold belt and high red boots, highlighted by makeup created by Luis Torres.
Belinda’s appearance at Paris Fashion Week took place at Place de l’Opéra, one of the French capital’s iconic venues. According to People, the exclusive party, organised by the beauty products company, was also attended by personalities such as Heidi Klum, Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevingne, Eva Longoria and Camila Cabello. American star Jane Fonda looked timeless in a silver disco jumpsuit; Longoria showed up in a white puffy mini dress; Jenner arrived as a “fatal blonde”, dressed in red, reported the AFP news agency.
Paris Fashion Week kicks off in style
Fresh from the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Paris kicked off its women’s fashion week on Monday with a catwalk show open to all on the Place de l’Opéra. After New York, London and Milan, 106 brands are taking part in Paris in 66 shows and around forty collection presentations. Victor Weinsanto opened Fashion Week on the roof of the Pompidou Centre with a show that featured Le Filip, a drag queen who won a popular French TV show. Several rising brands in the French fashion world, such as Mossi, Atlein and Coperni, also had their chance to shine in this spectacular show. “The idea is to be able to make accessible and democratise everything that the public never sees from this moment of Fashion Week: the most beautiful places, the most beautiful outfits and the best beauty looks,” said Delphine Viguier, CEO of L’Oréal Paris. This Tuesday, it will be the turn of the big names in luxury, with Christian Dior and Saint Laurent leading the way.
