While the two policemen were in a Pennsylvania State Police car parked on an island on an outside street to monitor cars, especially those violations, the two policemen were surprised by a strange event that they did not notice at first.
Suddenly, the tire of a medium-sized truck slammed into their car, then hit the windshield of the car and smashed it.
Fortunately, the police car’s windshield is hardened, which has shattered from the inside without causing any damage to them.
After watching the video, it was found that the tire had slipped from the pickup truck, and rushed into the central island of the street, and rushed towards the police car, where another camera inside the car captured the policemen’s reaction, and one of them was seen trying to protect his face and avoid the collision, and the shattered glass.
Spring Township Police released two recordings of the accident and the dramatic moment, when the accident occurred, last Monday, on Mount Zion Road.
“Fortunately, the tire hit the police car and then took off in the air away from the other side of the road instead of going in the opposite lane, hitting a moving vehicle in the other direction,” the police said in a post.
“The police car sustained some serious damage, and fortunately, none of the policemen were injured,” the police added in their post.
In the video, the driver of the pickup truck that got off the tire did not seem to realize what had happened and continued to drive carelessly.
