Guasave, Sinaloa.- As a form of support for the economy of many families who live and depend directly on the income they obtain from sales through the tianguisthe Public Highway Management maintains a program to strengthen these points of sale throughout the municipality of Guasave.
It will be sought that each syndicate has its own, but ordered, with the permits in order and complying with all the health protocols.

“We are working throughout the municipality, in each of the syndicates, promoting the tianguis. We want to strengthen the community markets so that people can sell their products within the same community, so that they have an extra income.”
Gandarilla Lerma explained that work has already been done with the El Burrión flea market, where it continues to function very well up to now.
He explained that with this program it seeks to support merchants, but also to regularize them in a register and with the required permits for them to be installed, in addition to identifying points where the rest of the citizenry is not affected.
“Community markets are a good option to have better control, but also to support people so they can sell their things and improve their income.”
improvements
The official mentioned that this is not only intended to raise resources, but to maintain order and return to the street vendors in works what they pay for the permits.
“It’s not just rearranging them and charging them, it’s giving them back what they pay in the short term in works, so that their situation improves.”
He explained that, for example, in the flea market that is installed in the Mexican Revolution neighborhood, in the park of the settlement, they were allowed to do so at that point because it is only for one day a week and does not affect the daily use of the place, but with what they have contributed, they installed a water intake, they put more plants and they are fixing the toilets.
In the case of the tianguis that is placed on the Diagonal canal, the street has been scraped and a strategy is being sought in coordination with the Directorate of Sustainable Mobility, to regulate the traffic of vehicles through that point, since the duration of the tianguis is just a few hours.

“In other words, we are looking for ways to improve the points where they are located with the same resources that they contribute by complying with the payment of their permits, that is a ‘win-win’, because we obtain better control and management of the positions and they are in better condition.”
