The dog managed to eat 20 packages of Kinder chocolate along with candy wrappers, that is, more than 250 g. The dog weighs 9 kg, and for him this is a toxic dose that could be fatal. The dog's owners noticed the missing chocolate in time and took their pet to the doctors, the TV channel notes. “360”.
Doctors induced vomiting in the corgi and prescribed IV treatment, writes Life.ru.
“Thanks to the quickly provided assistance, Teddy recovered within 24 hours and did not need a second appointment,” noted the capital’s social complex.

She explained that caffeine in such quantities quickly leads a dog’s body to real collapse and affects the functioning of the cardiovascular and nervous systems. According to her, it was lucky that Teddy was brought to the vet within an hour: the chocolate did not have time to be seriously absorbed into the stomach. According to the veterinarian, in her practice there were cases when dogs that had eaten too much chocolate could no longer be saved.
Also on April 22, the press service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Management of the Moscow Region reported that a Red Book whooper swan with a broken wing was rescued in the region. The bird was placed in a specialized center for treatment.
