On the night of this Thursday, May 16, the death at 48 years of age of the actress and journalist Veronica Toussaintwho in October 2021 announced that she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

“Our dearest driver died after a long and hard battle of 3 and a half years. She could not overcome it. Her smile remains,” he said on the national network.

The The news was announced in 2021 in the program ‘Qué chulada’from Imagen Televisión, where he explained that he had experienced a complicated process that also affected his family.
“On a personal note, being here every day, with the support of Imagen TV, my colleagues and all my colleagues who make this program, have made this process brighter,” he said.
A year later, she detailed for the YouTube channel ‘Puro Glow’ that the cancer started in the left breast and spread to the armpit of the same arm until it grew a few centimeters.
“I got a tumor that It was born in the left breast and went to my armpit.(…)it grew to the size of a golf ball,” he said on that occasion.
In June 2022the actress announced that had completed his last radiotherapy session.
