The Van Gogh Museum's Pokémon cards were already a hype that got out of hand, but it now appears that later canvases with Pikachu on them have also caused enormous chaos. The paintings were unintentionally sold for hundreds of euros, sometimes through the museum's own employees. Some sources wonder whether the museum realizes what happened.
