V Rising came out of the early access phase last May 8th and with version 1.0 it is generating really excellent attendance numbers on Steamwhere a peak of was recorded in these hours over 120,000 concurrent players.
To be precise, we are talking about 124,105 concurrent users registered by SteamDB at 3pm today, with numbers that could clearly levitate further during the rest of the weekend, the notoriously busiest period. At the moment V Rising is the tenth game with most active users on Steamimmediately after Rust and Grand Theft Auto and above Helldivers 2 and Fallout 4. Also on the reviews side there is good news for the developers of Stunlock Studios, given that for the moment the positive ones far outweigh the negative ones.
Just to make a comparison, before the release of early access V Rising averaged peaks of around 4,000 – 5,000 users. A far cry from the record of 150,000 recorded at the start of early access in 2022. In short, the innovations arriving with the full version, which include new dynamic endgame events, high-level enemies and bosses, have convinced many users, both long-time and how new, to play with it.
What is V Rising?
V Rising is a action RPG open world, already available on PC and arriving on PS5 by the end of the year. In the game we take on the role of a newly awakened vampire, thirsty for blood, glory and power. With this pretext our task will be to create an empire, build our castle and convert humans into loyal subjects, relying on a vast arsenal of weapons and vampire powers. All of this clearly trying to absolutely avoid daylight and garlic. The game also features online co-op and PvP, where players can storm fortresses built by other users.
