Officials are presenting a planning solution for the area, which concerns several street areas and bordering protected green, park and recreation areas, a railway area and areas not planned for station planning, for example in Haaga and Pitäjänmäki.

The goal is to create a new center for the West-Haaga sub-region in the vicinity of two light rail stops. The plan is to build a green and pleasant Länsi-Haaga square in the area, where city residents can easily move and do business on foot and by bike.

Formula solution enables the construction of the new street arrangements of the Vihdintie light rail and the Läntisen urban boulevard from the northern part of Huopalahdentie to Kaupintie, as well as the construction of the Haaga family center and the health and wellness center and three office blocks at the intersection of the two light rail lines in the area of ​​the Haaga circle.

According to the proposal, a smooth public transport interchange would also be created at the Valimo station.
