University of Helsinki Researchers at the University of Helsinki may have revolutionary breast cancer treatment in their hands, but the missing piece will not be put to research: “The mission of these companies is to make a profit, not to heal people”

The University of Helsinki is trying to strike a weak spot in breast cancer. Finnish research is on the verge of a historic breakthrough, but according to cancer researcher Juha Klefström, pharmaceutical companies do not want to help.

Research Professor Juha Klefström had never seen anything like it.

An experiment had been carried out at the University of Helsinki, in which mice were successfully cured with a completely new type of treatment. It had been tried for a long time.

In the experiment, mice with cancer were given different treatments and the experimental animals had a one-month follow-up period after the treatments. In the majority of mice, the cancers recurred and resulted in death, but one group of mice stood out from the crowd.
