A 15-year-old boy killed four and wounded seven at Oxford High School in Michigan in November 2021. According to The New York Times, it is the state's bloodiest school shooting ever. The shooter was sentenced to life imprisonment in December 2023.

The boy's mother was sentenced on Tuesday for four counts of manslaughter involving four dead students. The length of the sentence will be determined in April, and according to the media, the mother may be sentenced to up to 15 years in prison. The trial of the boy's father will be held in March.
