The American tire dealer already present in the series, widens the user base.
After supplying the Ultimate GT Endurance Cup and the Ultimate GT Sprint Cup, the Akron-based company is now adding the prototype category, a sector it knows well, having supplied tyres to various championships around the world.
“We have been working with Goodyear since the start of the 2024 season on our GT grids. We are extremely pleased to extend this tyre partnership to the European Endurance Prototype Cup,” commented Gregor Raymondis, General Manager of the Ultimate Cup European Series.
“Goodyear is renowned for its performance and longevity in the GT3 and LMP2 categories and brings all its knowledge to the table, both in marketing and on the ground with its engineers.”
Mathias Kipp, Director EMEA at Goodyear Racing, added: “The partnership with the Ultimate Cup European Series will be strengthened from 2025 onwards. We are delighted to become the exclusive supplier of the European Endurance Prototype Cup.”
