Genoa – “The Liguria Region, thanks to the Civil Protection funds, has opened the tender to identify accommodation facilities, including agritourisms, to be used for the temporary hospitality of the Ukrainian population arriving in Liguria”. This was announced by the President of the Region, Giovanni Toti, and the councilors for Civil Protection and Tourism, Giacomo Giampedrone and Giovanni Berrino. The structures will be able to indicate the period of availability which will go from 1st April to 31st December, while the contracts will be activated for a minimum duration of 30 days and a maximum of 90 days and can be renewed. The maximum rate recognized for the full board service amounts to 80 euros per day per person.
The offers presented must identify a percentage discount compared to the maximum amount indicated and a reduction in the amount proposed for the hospitality of children under 10 years of age. For each bed made available and not used an amount equal to 30% of the awarded rate will be recognized. “A first reception Civil Protection plan – added the president Toti and the commissioner Giampedrone – which is added to the two former Covid structures and which will support the Prefectures”. “We will try to give ample availability – explained Laura Gazzola, Tourism Confindustria Liguria coordinator – so that the Civil Protection can count on as large a number of accommodations as possible to accommodate the refugees”.
