Schmihal said this after a meeting with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Vice President Jaroslaw Kaczynski, President of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala and Prime Minister of Slovenia Janez Jansa.
He added: “Initial estimates indicate that the one-time direct losses incurred by Ukraine are currently estimated at about 565 billion dollars. In fact, this is the money needed to rebuild our state at the expense of Russia and at the expense of our partners.”
Shmyhal stressed that the Ukrainian government will work to ensure the confiscation of Russian funds and property abroad.
“We believe that our partner countries will also join this large-scale plan,” the Ukrainian prime minister said.
At the same time, he said, a group has been formed in the government to assess the losses to the Ukrainian economy caused by Russian aggression.
