The Ukrainian authorities are preparing humanitarian corridors for the evacuation of residents of Sumy, Kharkiv and Kherson, as well as the suburbs of Kyiv. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Irina Vereshchuk, reports RIA News.
Vereshchuk said that the Ukrainian side is constantly negotiating new humanitarian corridors, and also expressed the hope that women, children and the elderly will be evacuated on Sunday.
The Vice Premier added that in this case, the assistance of the Red Cross is especially important, which should become an intermediary in the process of organizing humanitarian corridors.
