UCAM Murcia CF
The team coached by Aira, for which nothing has come of this season, lost a match that tied in the 88th minute
When things go wrong, no matter how hard you try, it’s hard to reverse the situation. This has happened throughout the season to UCAM Murcia who, despite having a quality squad, have not been able to maintain the category in a course in which their objective was to fight for promotion. Nor has he been able to say goodbye to his fans with a win. The team led by Aira did not manage to add the three points yesterday in a match in which they had the opportunity to tie in their hand, they did so in the 88th minute, but a goal by Nils Mortimer just one minute later certified the azulona defeat.

initial attack
The meeting began with an arrival of the university students after a great center by Diego Iglesias that Diounkou took under the sticks. Shortly after, and after a great individual move down the left wing by former Hércules player, Abde, the Barcelona reserve team scored the first goal of the afternoon. With a goal against that left them totally baffled, Aira’s players couldn’t shake off that slab and barely created chances to find the equalizer in the first half. It was 45 minutes in which the Almeria referee Morales Moreno became the protagonist by showing up to five yellow cards.
The academy player Gabriel, one of the best in yesterday’s match, was the author of the goal for Aira’s team
The second part did not start very different from the first. Barcelona B took over the match until the hydration break. Seven minutes into the restart, Pedro López managed to stop a great opportunity for the Barça team to increase their lead.
After the hydration break, the locals put one more gear and in the final stretch, at 88 minutes, the youth squad Gabriel put the tie on the scoreboard. When it seemed that everything was over, the Catalans reacted in the best of ways and thanks to Nils Mortimer they ended up taking all three points in the last match against UCAM Murcia this season in the First RFEF. Coach José Manuel Aira was unable to end the season “with a victory at home”, as he wished.
