Released in 2003, it is a modern reimagining of the classic Prince of Persia series created by Jordan Mechner. It follows the story of a young unnamed Prince, who accidentally releases the dangerous Sands of Time into a sultan’s palace, turning most of the inhabitants into sand monsters. With the help of a mysterious princess named Farah and the use of the Dagger of Time, the Prince must correct his mistake and return the Sands of Time to his place.
Additionally, the game was adapted into a film of the same name in 2010, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and starring Jake Gyllenhaal as the Prince.
