The Geophysical Institute of Ecuador (IG) recorded, around 11:22 at night, on April 10, a strong earthquake at 11:20 p.m.
The IG reported that the earthquake was of magnitude 4.8 and a depth of 10 kilometers.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 11.33 km from Nobol, Guayasone of the 24 providences of the neighboring country, Ecuador.

Given the magnitude of the earthquake, some Internet users reported having felt it in provinces such as Tungurahua and Los Ríos,

This new tremor was recorded after another earthquake was reported over 7:45 p.m.in the providence of Morona Santiagoin Ecuador.
The movement had a magnitude of 3.5 and a depth of 145 kilometers.
According to the IG, the earthquake could have been felt in Palora 19 km away, in Sangay 20 km away and in Shell 26 km away, since they are the places closest to the epicenter.
