Thus, the press service of the airport in Astrakhan stated that all flights scheduled from the air harbor were canceled due to the ban on the use of southern airspace introduced by the aviation authorities. In addition, the representative of the air harbor in Volgograd announced the cancellation of all flights.
Earlier it became known that restrictions on flights from a number of airports in southern Russia against the background of the aggravation of the situation around the situation in Ukraine will be in effect from February 24 to March 2, 2022. Currently, the work of 12 airports has been suspended: Rostov (Platov), Krasnodar (Pashkovsky), Anapa (Vityazevo), Gelendzhik, Elista, Stavropol, Belgorod, Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Voronezh, Simferopol.
