The Turkish Ministry of Defense has assured in a statement that, “in accordance with our right to defense”, the Turkish Armed Forces carried out the attack where “many terrorists were neutralized”without specifying numbers of deaths or injuries.
He added that the military took “all precautions to avoid harm to innocent civilians, friendly elements, historical and cultural assets and the environment.”
Without specifying times, the statement mentioned that military operations will continue “decisively”in the region that Türkiye shares with northern Syria and Iraqand will “fight against terrorism with determination.”

The attackers arrived in a taxi
The attack began on Wednesday afternoon (3:25 p.m. in Spain), when at least two people arrived in a taxi at the door of the Tusas military aeronautical factory, on the northern outskirts of Ankara, a huge facility where some 15,000 people.
They opened their way inside with explosives and shots, killing a total of five peoplefour of them Tusas staff, in addition to the taxi driver who was also found dead.
