The English Football Association decided on Friday to ban Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel for one match and fine him 35,000 pounds, due to the quarrel that took place last weekend with the Italian coach of Tottenham Anthony Conte, who in turn was fined 15,000 pounds.

Tochel and Conte first got into a heated argument during the match after the 1-1 equalizer scored by Danish Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, as a result of the Italian’s exaggeration in his celebration in front of the Chelsea bench, and both got a yellow card.
Then the scene was repeated at the end of the meeting and more violently after Conte shook hands with his German counterpart, but the latter seemed angry that the Italian did not look at him, which led to an argument between them and they received a red card.
In its statement on Friday, the FA said: “An independent regulatory committee has today ordered Thomas Tuchel to be fined £35,000 and suspended for one match, and Antonio Conte was fined £15,000 for successively violating FA rule E3.”
