Mazatlan Sinaloa.- A truck from the public transportation service of the Mazatlan Truck Alliance was left on top of a median and collided against the base of some luminaires on the Bulevard Marina Mazatlán on Saturday morning.
The report that was generated through the C-4 Emergency Central, at approximately 10:26 a.m., mentioned that on the aforementioned road and before climbing the second vehicular bridge in the area of La Marina Mazatlán a public service passenger bus had had a mishap and apparently there could be injured people in the place, so they requested the presence of the emergency bodies in the place.
Paramedics from the Red Cross went to the indicated place and after carrying out a medical assessment of the passengers who were on board the Sábalo-Cerritos route truck, it was mentioned that none required to be transferred since they did not present injuries, as well as being given care the driver resulting in the same way as the passengers, without being transferred.
It was commented that a probable mechanical failure in the unit or perhaps an oversight by the driver could be the causes that caused the vehicle to end up at that site.
Likewise, the unit could have been driven at excessive speed and when taking a curve the driver lost control of the steering wheel and was left on top of the lateral median in the north-south lane.
Municipal Transit staff were responsible for carrying out the corresponding work on the site.
With the support of a crane, the truck was removed from the site and transferred to a local boarding house.
Firefighters went to the site to control the spill of fuel and oil in the place, in order to avoid any subsequent mishap.
