Triumph and Gibson team up for DGR | Motokicx

Triumph and Gibson join forces. The collaboration is inspired by two legendary models from the two brands: the Gibson Les Paul Standard and the equally legendary Triumph Bonneville T120, both from 1959.

A one-of-a-kind custom edition of both models was created and will be awarded to the entrant who raised the most money as part of the 2022 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride.

A replica of the ultimate Gibson classic, the 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue features a number of Triumph details such as the hand-padded pickguard, inspired by the Bonneville’s signature engine fins, and the etched pickup covers.

The 1959 Legends Custom Edition of the Bonneville T120, in turn, features unique Gibson details, including the hand-painted sunburst paint scheme and Jet Black painted guitar neck.

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is now a classic on the motorcycle agenda. The DGR unites hundreds of thousands of classic and vintage style motorcyclists around the world to raise money and raise awareness for research into prostate cancer and men’s mental health.

Since its inaugural year, the global DGR community has raised more than $31 million for charity partner Movember, and now operates in more than 900 cities and 114 countries around the world. This year’s Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride will take place on Sunday, May 22. Pre-registration is already open for riders from around the world, official registration and fundraising will start on March 28.
