Treyarch, one of the teams working on the series call of Duty, posted a message to ban sexism, bullying and other negative practices from their workplaces.
This is clearly an increasingly pressing need, considering the situation of Activision, with workers going on to the bitter end and clamoring for the resignation of CEO Bobby Kotick due to the scandals in which he would be involved.
“Our goal as a studio is to create fantastic games that the world can enjoy,” reads the message. “Having the privilege of being able to pursue this goal is made possible by the people who work at Treyarch: we are a team of intelligent, talented, creative professionals who always try to give their best.”
“In our culture there is no room for sexism, harassment, racism, bigotry, discrimination or bullying. From here on out, our priority will be to provide a safe, inclusive, diverse work environment where everyone can thrive. “
“Everyone at Treyarch is dedicated to game development because we deeply love the art of video games and their magical ability to create moments that matter. This is one of those moments and it starts with being the better people. “
