A very serious one accident this is what happened yesterday evening, Saturday 2 March, in the municipality of Vast. Unfortunately, three people died practically instantly, while a 19-year-old girl is now hospitalized in desperate conditions.

The police arrived on site and are currently working to understand the exact cause dynamics. In order to allow rescuers to intervene, they had to close the road for some time.

According to information released by some local media, the accident occurred around 8.30pm, Saturday 2 March. Precisely along state road 16, near the municipality of Vast, which is located in the province of Chieti. The head-on collision occurred between two vehicles, which are one BMW and also a Jeep, with the 15-year-old girl on board.

From what has emerged in the last few hours, for reasons still to be clarified by the police, the BMW collided frontally against the other car. Both finished running along the road and passers-by soon realized what the situation was desperate. For this reason, they asked for the prompt intervention of health workers.

Accident in Vasto, what happened and who are the people who lost their lives

Doctors arrived on site within minutes. The firefighters worked for a long time to free them from the sheets of their vehicles. However, when they entrusted the three people to the health workers, he was no longer there for them nothing more to do.

The man driving the BMW was called Dante Carpi, aged 58. He was very well known in the area, because being the owner of a restaurant, he has many acquaintances, he leaves behind his wife and 4 children. The other man who lost his life is a 51 year old man and his name was Paolo Marchesaniwho was driving the Jeep and with him, unfortunately his 15 year old granddaughter also died, Martina Mancini.

From what emerged the family was headed to a town in the area to go to a party birthday. Unfortunately a 19 year old girl was also injured and is in very serious conditions. There will be further updates on the case soon.
