This evening, Saturday 13 April 2024, at 9.20 pm on Italia 1, Too bad guys (The Bad Guys), a 2022 American film directed by Pierre Perifel, will be broadcast. Plot
In a world where humans and anthropomorphic animals coexist, a gang of criminal animals, known as the Bad Guys (made up of Mr. Wolf, Mr. Snake, Mr. Shark, Mr. Piranha and Mrs. Tarantula) are famous for their brazen thefts while evading authorities. However, when the gang is insulted on the air by the fox governor, Diane Foxington, Wolf proposes to steal a humanitarian prize: the Golden Dolphin, a prize coveted but never obtained by other thieves, intended for the philanthropist guinea pig, Professor Rupert Marmellata IV. On the evening of the event the five sneak into the museum where the event is being held but unfortunately, when Wolf inadvertently helps an elderly woman who intended to pickpocket and is praised for her good deed, he feels impressed. However he recovers immediately and after some mishaps the gang manages to steal the Golden Dolphin. As they are about to leave the building, Marmellata's subsequent speech about goodness of heart accidentally exposes Wolf and the gang as they try to escape and the 5 criminals are arrested.
As he is taken away, Wolf convinces Marmellata to try to reform them: his plan involves them pretending to be good and then stealing his prize at the charity gala. The gang arrives at the professor's house, but the lessons prove to be a frustrating struggle with the gang unable to adapt to the concept of good behavior (such as convincing Snake to share something with Shark, helping a little old lady, Wolf in disguise, crossing the street or save a cat in a tree). Marmellata gets the idea of using their theft skills to break into a laboratory and free some guinea pigs, but in the end this initiative also turns out to be a fiasco.
