Tonight on TV: Farm Van Dorst, College tour and Return of the Jedi

NPO 3 – 8.19 p.m.

The format of Farm Of Thirst is as simple as it is brilliant: somewhere on the outskirts of Apeldoorn, Raven van Dorst resides in a dilapidated farm. Raven invites two well-known Dutch people every week, who interviews them between hoeing. The first guests of this second season: comedian Eva Crutzen and magician Hans Klok.

NPO 2 – 8.20 p.m.

Ten years ago, the then 21-year-old TUe student Lex Hoefsloot and his team drove a solar car for the win in the World Solar Challenge† He is now the head of light year, a company that develops solar cars for the general public. This summer the Lightyear One finished. With solar panels on the roof, the car can drive long distances without having to recharge at a pole.

One – 9.30 pm

Having already visited every island near England, the US and Australia, this time Martin Clunes takes a plane to the Pacific Ocean. His journey begins in French Polynesia, where he swims with sharks, visits Marlon Brando’s eco-resort and sails to the remote Marquesas Islands, where he meets the local horse whisperer.

In Sander Lantinga’s presentation debut, four students come together. So far nothing new. But to fill the prize pool, four of the same answers are required. Who is persuaded by the persuasiveness of his fellow quizzers and who ultimately chooses to be right?

Veronica – 8 pm

At the end of the trilogy, the Empire prepare for the Rebellion forever with the Death Star† Han Solo (Harrison Ford) has fallen into the hands of mobster Jabba the Hutt, from which Chewbacca and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) try in vain to free him. In a final duel, Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Darth Vader face each other.
