Today It Doesn’t Circulate June 15, 2024: These cars rest in CDMX and Edomex

The program Today does not circulate this will be applied Saturday June 15, 2024affecting certain vehicles in the Mexico City and in several municipalities of the Mexico state.

On this occasion, the restriction will be in force for vehicles with hologram 2, regardless of the finish of their license plates, as well as for foreign cars.

Cars affected by Hoy No Circula will not be able to travel between 5:00 and 22:00. However, foreign vehicles will have a shorter restriction, from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m..

Vehicles without restrictions

Vehicles with double hologram “00”, “0”, electric and hybrid They are exempt from the program and can move freely every day, including Saturdays.

In addition to the vehicles mentioned, the following are also exempt from Hoy No Circula:

❥Hearse vehicles in active service
❥ Vehicles driven by people with disabilities, as long as they have the corresponding identification or authorization
❥ Public and passenger transportation
❥ Automobiles with old or classic car license plates
❥ Tractors and machinery for construction and mining
❥ Motorcycles
❥ Vehicles with demonstration and/or transfer registration
❥ Vehicles with a valid Tourist Pass or special permit from the Ministry of the Environment

Where does Hoy No Circula apply?

The Hoy No Circula program is implemented in the 16 municipalities of Mexico City, which include:

❥ Cuauhtémoc
❥ Gustavo A. Madero

❥ Miguel Hidalgo
❥ Milpa Alta
❥ Tláhuac
❥ Tlalpan
❥ Venustiano Carranza
❥ Xochimilco

In the State of Mexico, restrictions apply in the following municipalities:

❥ Cuautitlán
❥ Cuautitlán Izcalli
❥ Chalco
❥ Chicoloapan
❥ Chimalhuacan
❥ Ecatepec de Morelos

Hoy No Circula does not apply on Sundays, allowing free circulation in CDMX and Edomex until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, when it comes into effect again.
