Agents of the Economic and Fiscal Crime Unit (UDEF) of the Provincial Judicial Police Brigade of the Provincial Police Station of Jaén have arrested three people related to the illicit traffic of high -end vehicles imported and sold to renowned soccer players, inter alia.
From the National Police Corps (CNP) it has been indicated that the arrests were carried out last November within the framework of the police operation baptized as Urus. To the detaineestwo men and a woman, between 32 and 44 yearsthey are investigated for crimes of documentary falsehood and usurpation of civil status and fraud.
One of the detainees, the administrator and owner of a dealer in Madrid, received the customer orders, mostly First Division Soccer Players Of high purchasing power, while the other two incarted, managers in Barcelona, carried out the registration procedures in different provincial traffic leaders.
The investigation began at the end of March 2024, following the complaint of an Italian citizen based in a town in Las Palmas that stated that he had received a traffic sanction regarding a Lamborghini brand vehicle, urus model, with registration provisional and that she assured that it was not her property. This traffic sanction came from the Boadilla del Monte area (Madrid).
The UDEF began by investigating the procedures related to the vehicle in question, finding out that they had been carried out at the Provincial Headquarters of Jaén, by a city management, by commissioning another located in the city of Barcelona.
The Lamborguini vehicle turned out to be the property of a well -known soccer player who plays in a team of the Spanish Leaguewhich, once heard in a statement as injured, showed a contract of sale with a dealership located in Madrid, stating that he could not carry out the process of definitive registration of the vehicle due to circumstances outside him.

The researchers determined that the plot consisted of the acquisition of high -end vehicles abroad that were registered in the name of third parties as owners, without their knowledge and whose identities and documentation were provided by the managers of a company from Barcelona.
This usurpation of identity of the people who appeared as owners of high -end vehicles, allowed the concessionaire to be exempt from the payment of the 576 model that includes the special tax on certain means of transport, also modifying in said document, essential data related to Cost and mileage of vehicles, resulting in the amount to be paid smaller than the legally established.
Once the regularization of taxes related to the enrollment of the imported vehicle was regularized, the managers located in Barcelona, proceeded to change the ownership of the vehicles, using sale companies to finally, make the change of ownership of the vehicles to the people who had effectively made the sale contract.
From the National Police it is indicated that the operation It has not been closed and that is still investigated.
