Now, a new report has indicated that the PS5 Pro has been ready to hit the market since last year, but the Japanese company hopes to coincide with an important launch.
According to Moore’s Law is Dead, at some point in its development, the PlayStation 5 Pro was hanging in the balance, and the chances of seeing a release for this console were slim. However, the team continued working on this hardware, and It has now been announced that development on the PlayStation 5 Pro came to an end last year. In this way, Sony is waiting for the right moment to deliver this improved version of the normal PS5 to the public.
Although there is no official information at the moment, Moore’s Law is Dead has indicated that Sony is hoping to coincide with a major launch, as it could very well be Grand Theft Auto VI. Considering that Rockstar’s next work is one of the most anticipated games of 2025, many people will surely enter the current generation of consoles just to enjoy this installment. Regarding console performance, everything seems to indicate that 40fps will be the standard thanks to the modest CPU upgrade that can lead to more stable 40fps modes, and games that use dynamic resolution scaling thanks to a 45% GPU faster.
