This is a pioneering train that will merge contemporary British cuisine, culture and style. The fine dining experiences will be designed by renowned chef Simon Rogan, renowned for his innovative approach and the exceptional quality of his restaurants, which collectively have eight Michelin stars and two Michelin Green stars worldwide. A onboard spa suite provides therapies designed to relax and revitalize; and one cultural programming selected will invite travelers to discover the essence of Great Britain, offering an unrivaled perspective and exclusive access to some of the country’s hidden gems.
He Britannic Explorer will depart from London and offer three night trips with a choice of three different routes through the natural landscapes of Cornwallhe Lake District and Welsh. During the day, voluntary guided excursions can be enjoyed off the train showcasing the cultural richness, beauty and history of each destination, and at night, passengers can relax and socialize in the train’s botanical-inspired bar, located in the observatory car, ready to become the train’s leisure center.
Design and gastronomy on board
The London studio Albion Nord has created the elegant interiors of the 18 compartments. The train has three Grand Suites and 15 Suites which have been made in Great Britain and have all kinds of comforts and a decoration inspired by nature in which pastel tones are the main protagonists.
The chef’s menus Simon Rogan They pay tribute to sustainable and seasonal ingredients, sourced locally, to showcase the richness of the region. The different routes that the train will take will each have a personalized proposal that ranges from afternoon teahe lunch and dinner and in which local specialties will stand out. “I hope that each passenger not only enjoys the flavors, but also feels a connection between the dishes and the journey, to make their time on board a truly memorable moment,” explains the chef.

The exclusive train experience presents a fresh perspective on England and Wales, with exclusive journeys and privileged access to some of the region’s most iconic destinations. Guests will be able to visit galleries, national parks and cities rich in history, in a unique and immersive way. Highlights include a private tour and dinner at the renowned Hauser & Wirth Somerset and the restaurant Da Costaguided excursions through picturesque Wales, bathing in the stunning landscapes of the Lake District and a visit to the Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens in Cornwall.
The routes are timed to allow travelers to combine two regional itineraries in a single trip: the Cornish routes and the Lake District They run from Friday to Monday, while the Welsh route runs from Monday to Thursday.
