A woman alerted the Emergency Coordination Center 112 of the Region this Saturday, at 10:55 a.m., after seeing a bloodied and injured neighbor asking for help on a street near the church of San Cristóbal de Lorca.
Agents from the Ciudad del Sol Local Police immediately went to the area, as well as an ambulance. Upon arrival, they found that the affected woman, about 40 years old, had injuries caused by a knife. Emergency sources indicated that it was a knife.
The victim, who was dizzy although did not lose consciousness at any time, was quickly transferred to the Rafael Méndez de Lorca hospital for treatment. Her life is not in danger.
The police are now in charge of investigating the causes of the attack suffered by the woman.
