San Ignacio, Sinaloa.- In the rural community of La Labor, in the municipality of San Ignacio, Sinaloa, its inhabitants prepare to celebrate next Friday, the day of San Juan.
The locals remember the great parties that were held in honor of this saint and that for some reason they stopped celebrating.
Today, thanks to the effort that some locals have put in, supported by the Local Livestock Association of Coyotitán, chaired by Ramón Velázquez Ontiveros, as well as the San Esteban rancher of the delegate to the Iván Iván Báez Martínez union, they are trying to rescue what was already a great tradition, not only in this town but in many more of this mountain municipality.
For it the traditional mornings are scheduled, as well as a cavalcade which will depart at 1:00 p.m. from the Los Mecates ranch, where the horsemen will be offered a meal.
This cavalcade will conclude in the labor stream where a jaripeo dance will be performed, enlivened by the group Hombres de Valor and the band Here there are 50 from Coyotitan Sinaloa.
There will also be a confrontation between the bulls of Rancho La Noria de Juan Renteria and the perches of Ricardo Ramos Mesillas, where there will be surprises and contests for the best dancing horse with cash prizes.
