Due to maintenance work on the City’s water infrastructure, the Intermunicipal System of Drinking Water and Sewerage Services (SIAPA) announced that there will be intermittent supply in 1,300 neighborhoods of six metropolitan municipalities.
Through a statement, the agency indicated that the cuts will begin at zero hours on Thursday, April 6.
It will be until Saturday, April 8, when the gradual recovery of drinking water in the supply lines begins, and will continue on Sunday, April 9, and Monday, April 10.
The full recovery of the supply of vital liquid it will arrive until Tuesday, April 11, added SIAPA.
The maintenance works that will be carried out in the Chapala-Guadalajara supply system, and in most of its hydraulic facilities within the Guadalajara Metropolitan Areaare part of the Easter 2023 Operation.
“There will be 570 workers coordinated in 164 operating units to carry out the work. The investment applied is 7 million pesos,” the parastatal said.

There are 264 colonies from Guadalajara, 261 from Tonalá, 248 from Tlaquepaque, 194 from Zapopan, and 36 from El Salto and Juanacatlán.
The SIAPA recommended that citizens save water, check facilities to avoid leaks, and made the number 333-668-2482 available, as well as their social networks, to request free pipes if necessary.
