They stone the Real Oviedo bus before the Cup match against Ávila

What was supposed to be a party tonight (8:00 p.m.) in the Copa del Rey match between Real Ávila and Oviedo has been marred in the previous hours by the vandal attack suffered by the Asturian team’s bus.

Real Oviedo has reported the events through its official media. «Real Oviedo regrets the damage that its parked official bus suffered tonight, and reiterates its rejection of any type of violence in sport. The facts are in the hands of the Police, to whom we thank for their willingness and work. Aware that this isolated event does not represent Real Ávila or the Castilian people, and grateful for the good treatment and facilities that we have received in the Copa del Rey match. See you at 8pm!

The Avila club, also through its social networks, has condemned the attack suffered by the vehicle of the Oviedo team’s expedition, which tonight is playing the first round of the Copa del Rey at the Adolfo Suárez Stadium.

«Real Ávila strongly condemns the incidents that occurred tonight with the Real Oviedo bus. These acts are intolerable both in sport and outside of it. We regret what happened. The club is at the disposal of Oviedo and the authorities,” the Avila entity wrote on its social networks, a message that it accompanied with several images.

In these images published by both entities, a window of the Principality’s bus and a cobblestone on one of the seats of the vehicle can be seen destroyed.
