A family from Huila has been experiencing an ordeal for more than a month, when one of its members disappeared under strange circumstances in Mexicoseeking to cross the border to the United States.
The man is identified as Luis Fernando Murcia Bonillawho left his home in Neiva, department of Huila, on February 6, with the aim of going in search of the “American dream.”
After making the decision to migrate to the United States illegally, Luis traveled to Bogotá and then headed to Mexico City, where he stayed for only two days, and later headed to Juarez Citythe place where he had the last communication with his wife, according to what his relatives informed the local media.
