Action films with light touches of violence have remained at a moderate standard for them to be listed in theaters, although there are two productions that have achieved excellence in managing their narratives that ended up convincing viewers. These are neither more nor less than Violent Night and Nobodywhich are accompanied by actors who have been forging their path in the film industry to become the favorites of many thanks to series like Breaking Bad and Stranger Things.
The producers Kelly McCormick and David Leitch have revealed their plans for the sequels, aiming to begin filming them possibly later this year and early 2025. Development has gone well in the pre-production process, seeing the potential for the franchises. So much Bob Odenkirk as David Harborare eager to return, while McCormick He added that scripts are currently being written and several drafts have been completed; so deliveries are ready to be worked on.
Here are the statements that have been given about the production of the voice of McCormick in the latest edition of South by Southwest:
We are planning returns to those universes. Hopefully, honestly, even potentially later this year for Nobody 2 and early next year for Violent Night 2, if we can find time in everyone's busy schedules. But the development is going very well. and everyone is very excited about moving those worlds forward.
We're in a couple of drafts but there's still a bit of work to do.
Here is the synopsis of Violent Night:
When a team of mercenaries breaks into a wealthy family compound on Christmas Eve and takes everyone inside hostage, they were unprepared for a surprise defender: Santa Claus (David Harbour) is in the building and about to show why this Santa Claus is no saint.
This is the plot of nobody:
When thieves attack his home, Hutch Mansell (Bob Odenkirk), the father of the family, takes a completely passive attitude and does not defend his loved ones to prevent violence. Driven by rage, he begins a self-destructive path in which he will discover combat abilities that he himself was not aware he possessed. Little by little everything will become bloodier until, at a given moment, the safety of his family depends on him again.
For now there are no release dates for any of them, but with what has been said, it will be safe to see them until 2026.
