The suspects left the greyhounds last Sunday on the outskirts of the municipality
The Local Police of Alhama de Murcia requested citizen collaboration to try to locate the owners of a tourism from which two dogs were thrown last Sunday. On Monday, a call to the police station reported the presence of two greyhounds that had visible injuries and were lost on the outskirts of the municipality.
The agents who went to the scene observed that the wounds of the animals could be due to the violent extraction of their identification microchips. According to some pedestrians who were in the area, the animals had been thrown from a car on Sunday around 7:30 p.m. on a service road near the intersection of the Alhama-Campo de Cartagena highway, the RM-2, and the RM-603, Alhama-El Palmar.
