Another situation happened in 2015, when Lajud was still working at RCN. Then the sports journalism union found out that his then partner, also a sports journalist, denounced him for physical and psychological violence.

According to some of the journalists interviewed by La Vorágine, “those who dared to criticize Lajud for beating his ex-wife began to close the doors of the press conferences and the stadiums.”

The report reveals that the Foundation for Press Freedom (FLIP) has reported two cases of journalists who denounced that their credentials for their journalistic coverage of the local league had been withdrawn, without explanation.

Several respondents say they are afraid of losing their jobs due to pressure they have already felt from Lajud, who would have harassed them to remove content from their social networks when it was about criticizing the soccer union.
