The explosion of a shell in the Rostov region near the border with Ukraine became known on the morning of February 19. The shell exploded near the village of Mityakinskaya in the Tarasovsky district, 300 meters from one of the houses, as local residents told law enforcement officers.

On the morning of February 19, it was reported that Ukrainian security forces again fired on the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) from artillery and mortars. It was noted that 38 mines with a caliber of 120 millimeters and 27 shells with a caliber of 122 millimeters were fired across the territory of the republic.
